Using a 100 million square km database*, Infoterra France and Spot Image have developed a dedicated online service that delivers maps on almost all part of the earth, within a short time.
This intelligence mapping product combines information extracted from Spot 5 satellite images acquired since 2002. The archive coverage is regularly expanding to make recent maps available to any user in almost any part of the world.
Source data accuracy used for map production:
- Absolute horizontal accuracy : 16m at 90%
- Absolute vertical accuracy : 10m at 90% for slope < 20°
The delivered pack include irrespectively:
- one single size : 15’x15’ (around 27km by 27km at equator)
- a set of layers
- a patented process for reliable results
- a package of various files (see bellow)
The pack is processed in a very short time, and is delivered in various files for a final operational scale 1/50,000.
